Soil fumigation is in progress for this season's potato crop using Strike™, powered by Chloropicrin. Starting with healthy soil helps create the right conditions for strong early growth and better crop performance. Trident Ag Products focuses on preparing fields so growers can move into the season with confidence.
TriCal Group works closely in collaboration with universities and researchers to protect our food supply and health. The chemicals we use are registered in varying chemical formulations for maximum performance, safety, and environmental health. All have been listed as exempt under EPA residue tolerance, meaning no resulting residue in or on food grown after soil treatment with these chemistries.

Trident Ag Products Trident's Idaho sugar beet trial is underway with soil fumigation using CPM 65. This application is the first step in our effort to enhance sugar percentage and increase tonnage per acre. While the process is just beginning, establishing healthy soil is essential for supporting strong crop performance throughout the season.

Trident Ag's Eastern Idaho potato trial is underway with a new round of soil fumigation using Strike™, powered by Chloropicrin. This early stage sets the foundation for the season, helping manage soilborne pests and diseases and preparing the field for healthy potato growth. Another year brings another successful potato trial at Trident Ag Products. This season, we expanded to two trials and increased the plot size to half pivot fields. Our multi-year approach allows us to work closely with growers and monitor performance over time, helping us gather strong, reliable data.
We continue to see positive results in managing the early die complex in potatoes, including the suppression of vert and black dot in stem tissue. These improvements support healthier plants and stronger yields for our growers.
