Congratulations to Alfredo Guerrero from our Hollister team for earning 1st Place in TriCal's Employee Photo Contest.
Alfredo's winning photo captures one of the many rewards of an early start in agriculture: a breathtaking sunrise that reminds us why we do what we do. While he is known for his dedication behind the wheel, this photo showcases another one of his talents and a great eye for capturing the beauty of the day before the work begins.
Thank you, Alfredo, for sharing this incredible moment with the TriCal team. We are proud to recognize the people who help make our company stronger every day, both on and off the job.

As the winter berry season comes to a close in Santa Maria, our fleet is taking a brief siesta while our team prepares for the busy summer berry season. Behind the scenes, we are planning, organizing, and getting ready to continue providing growers with the reliable crop consulting and support they depend on throughout the season.
If you are preparing for the months ahead, now is a great time to schedule a consultation with a TriCal PCA.
TriCal was founded in 1961 by three young men - Richard Storkan, Jerry Hanes, and Robert McCaslin, who were on a mission to carry out commercial soil fumigation by specialized methods.
Preparation in the field starts long before planting begins.
These irrigation pipes are staged and ready for pre-irrigation ahead of soil fumigation and bedding operations. From early planning to field execution, the TriCal team takes pride in staying organized, prepared, and ready to support growers every step of the way.
It’s the attention to detail in the field that helps lay the foundation for a successful season.

Aloha from the TriCal Family Picnic!
On May 30th, employees and their families from TriCal, Inc., TriCal Diagnostics, Cardinal Professional Products, and Landmark Irrigation gathered at Coyote Ranch in Morgan Hill for an unforgettable day of fun, food, and family.
This year’s Hawaiian-themed picnic brought out everyone's island spirit, and our employees truly dressed to impress with colorful Hawaiian shirts, leis, and festive attire!
The day was filled with activities for all ages, including face painting, a crowd favorite pie eating contest for both kids and adults, and delicious Hawaiian shaved ice that was a hit all around. From friendly competition to sweet treats and family fun, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A special thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. Whether custom- or grower-applied, TriCal does a field-specific survey and develop the treatment plan in partnership with the grower. We synthesize a broad range of data to optimize the soil treatment tailored to each grower's specific needs. These evaluations include considerations of agronomy, resource conservation, soil biology and soil science, meteorology, and economics.

From Prunus Replant Disorder (PRD) to nematodes, Phytophthora, and root rot, these issues develop below the surface and can limit root growth and overall tree performance.
The difference is clear.
Untreated vs. treated soils can significantly impact tree vigor, uniformity, and yield potential.
Research-backed results from TriClor-treated almond orchards show:
Proactive soil management is key to establishing a strong, productive orchard from the start. At TriCal, Inc., we help growers implement effective, tailored soil solutions.
Healthy crops start with healthy soil.
Soil fumigation is a pre-plant treatment that helps manage harmful soil-borne pests, diseases, and nematodes. By creating a healthy, growing environment beneath the surface, growers can give their crops the best possible start.
Why does it matter?
At TriCal, we’re committed to delivering innovative soil solutions that support sustainable, productive agriculture. Because stronger starts lead to stronger harvests.
